Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (actual)

Degree in Biology (2018 - 2022)

During the degree I have acquired solid knowledge in molecular biology, genetics, ecology and biochemistry, as well as in laboratory techniques and data analysis, through attending lectures, laboratory practicals, research projects and group work, and the development of my final degree project.

The degree has helped me to improve my critical analysis, scientific thinking and problem solving, as well as teamwork and scientific communication. In addition, the internships throughout the degree allowed me to apply this knowledge in a real environment, improving my technical skills and my ability to solve problems.

All of this allowed me to decide my academic future to start the Master's degree in Biomedical Research, as well as the possibility of a future PhD.

Thanks to this preparation and my commitment to research, I was able to carry out my final degree project with a high level of rigour and dedication. This effort was reflected in the award of an honours degree, which recognised the quality of my work and my ability to tackle a scientific project with depth and precision.

Master's degree in Biomedical Research (2022 - 2023)

What have I learnt in the master's degree?

I have learnt more about biomedicine, physiopathology and advanced therapies, as well as gaining experience in experimental techniques and data analysis in biomedical research.

How did I learn it?

Through theoretical training, practical laboratory work, applied research in my Master's thesis and work experience at the Biomedical Institute of Valencia where I did my internship during my degree.

What skills have I improved?

Experimental design, biomedical data analysis, working with cellular and molecular models, scientific writing and research project management.

What has it helped me?

To consolidate my research profile, gain experience in high-level laboratory environments and open doors towards a PhD.
